Cousin visit

My Sister, Charlotte, and her 17 month old son, Linus, came from Seattle to visit us this weekend. At first, I think Dylan was unsure of how to respond to his exhuberant cousin:

But Linus was really into Dylan, and kept insisting they sit together.  Dylan eventually decided he was okay:

On Saturday afternoon, the five of us (including Chris) went to the Crystal Springs Rhodedendron Garden, and Linus got a little upset that he wasn't allowed to get in the water with the ducks.  But I think the trip was redeemed for him when we went to OMSI this morning.  Linus had a blast in the small child playground area, especially the part where you ARE allowed to play in the water.  He caught a plastic fish with his bare hands!

All in all, a fine weekend indeed.  It's so heartwarming to see the boys enjoying each other.  And it's great "momming around" with Charlotte.
